Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data VisaHop (visahop.example, "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Data we collect
- Usage data: we may use a lightweight, cookieless analytics tool (such as Plausible) to count page views, rough geography and device class, so we know which guides are useful.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, the address you submit is used only to send the VisaHop newsletter; unsubscribe anytime with one click.
- Email contact: messages you send us (e.g. a correction) are used only to handle that enquiry.
- No travel documents: the site has no accounts and no payments, and we will never ask for passport numbers or other travel-document data. Please never email us your passport details.
Cookies and advertising
- A consent banner is shown on your first visit; you may accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- Advertising services (e.g. Google AdSense) and their partners may set cookies to show relevant ads on other sites. Manage personalisation at Google Ads Settings.
- If you reject consent, no ad scripts are loaded. Clearing your browser cookies resets the choice.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links (marked rel="sponsored nofollow"). Clicking one may let the merchant set its own cookies for referral attribution. We never transmit your personal data to merchants.
Retention and your rights
- Analytics is kept in aggregate only; newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
- You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by emailing Vantoron@gmail.com.
Children
VisaHop is written for adult travellers and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date above and announced on the site. Questions: Vantoron@gmail.com.
